Elite Group IT welcomes Jayne Hartley as Chief Executive Officer

Elite Group IT is delighted to announce the appointment of Jayne Hartley as its new Chief Executive Officer. Jayne succeeds Ryan Cleator as CEO who has led the company since the merger of Elitegroup.im, IT Works and Wi-Manx to form Elite Group IT in December 2021.

Ryan Cleator, who will remain as Shareholder and Director of the Group, said:

“Since the companies merged to form Elite Group IT just under 18 months ago, we have seen fantastic growth in the business. We are now at the stage where I feel it is time to step aside and let someone new take control of the day-to-day running of the business. I am delighted that Jayne is joining us, she is an excellent leader and has vast experience managing large teams and driving businesses forward.”

Jayne has a proven track record in the computer software industry as an experienced Business Analyst and Project Manager. She joins Elite Group IT having spent 11 years working at PDMS, most recently in the position of Chief Operating Officer. Jayne’s approach champions teamwork and collaboration and she has demonstrated strong leadership and operational skills.  

Speaking of Jayne’s appointment, Chairman of Elite Group IT, Matt Newing said:

“Jayne has a wealth of experience and knowledge that will support the business with its ambitious growth plans. It’s clear that Jayne has a strong vision for Elite Group IT and her appointment marks the next chapter in the evolution of the company. With a proven track record, I do not doubt that Jayne, alongside the Management Team, will deliver the company’s future vision.”

Elite Group IT was formed from the merger of Elitegroup.im (including the Wi-Manx brand) and IT Works in 2021. The merger of the businesses brought together Elitegroup.im’s strengths in telecoms and connectivity, with IT Works’ experience in IT support and cloud services, combining the very best of the island’s IT and telecoms into one provider. The company continues to develop and has significant plans for expansion, both locally and internationally.

Jayne, who took up her role on the 6^th of March, remarked:

“It is a privilege to be joining Elite Group IT as CEO. Everyone I have had the pleasure to meet has been welcoming and I am excited to explore the great things this business can achieve. It is important to me to develop a culture based on openness, honesty, and authenticity. Going the extra mile to deliver great customer outcomes and continually improving operations will be vital.
