Team Elite Takes on Tree Planting with the Woodland Trust

As part of our ‘locals for locals’ ethos, we aim to give back to the Island’s rich and varied community wherever we can, whether that’s through supporting local charities, engaging with community projects, or helping to conserve our environment.

Our latest community project was inspired by our goal to create a greener future for our Island and involved spending a sunny afternoon planting trees. We joined forces with the Woodland Trust who were on hand to demonstrate how to plant the saplings, as well as providing extra equipment and a much-needed sugar boost to keep us going.

The Elite Group IT staff team enthusiastically planted about 100 native trees under the expert guidance of the Woodland Trust, helping to expand a small woodland and increase the natural wildlife habitat. Throughout the afternoon, we managed to plant an impressive 100 trees. To further support the charity in the amazing work they do for the environment and our community, we also made a sizable donation to the charity, which will support them in planting over 400 trees across various projects on the island.
